ago and now available on the net. Particular Chapters that are Catholic related: - Chapter 3 - "Papal Persecutions." (Popes ordering persecution for non-Catholics) - Chapter 4 - "An Account of the Inquisition ." - Chapter 5 - "An Account of the Persecutions in Italy, Under the Papacy." - Chapter 6 - "An Account of the Persecutions in Bohemia Under the Papacy." - Chapter 17 - "Rise and Progress of the Protestant Religion in Ireland; with an account of the Barbarous Massacre of 1641." These particularly sad events are told in detail of extreme Catholic brutality in very many events. The only way to justify these events is to consider them Satanic. |

Note: John's faith was very strong and truly expected to be delivered from this disease with reference verses like as what Jesus said, "You may ask me for anything in My Name, and I will do it." John 14:14 Yet, God continued to test his faith and use his trial to comfort others. Although he had times of depression, frustration and struggled to understand why he wasn't delivered, he never gave up his love for Jesus. At his funeral he requested the hymns "How Great Thou Art", "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," and "Victory in Jesus." |
